Excellent Pediatric Nurse Practitioner opportunity in San Antonio!
Responsibilities
We have excellent full-time and part-time opportunity for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners with interest in Pediatric Otolaryngology to work with our well established and rapidly growing practice in San Antonio, Texas.
Our Pediatric Otolaryngology ambulatory clinic is high volume and its focus is on a variety of specialty otolaryngological diagnoses. Our physicians offer a broad scope of outpatient and in-patient services for the management of ear, nose and throat problems.
The PNP will provided patient care support to the practice and will hold independent clinic to support general/specialty patient care. Provide comprehensive history and physical exams; order diagnostic test and follow up on these and other lab tests; triage phone calls; formulate a plan of care. Plan and implement treatment, teaching and/or support to patients and families. Provide consultation to other health and allied professionals to collaboratively assess patient care needs and treatment plan.
Pediatric experience required; training will be provided
Full Time position (Typically work 8-hr shifts)
The NP shall maintain a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Texas and Pediatric BLS certification.
All encounters shall be documented within the practice EMR in a manner that is conducive to timely billing and patient follow-up.
Office-based setting is located near the Stone Oak area in San Antonio.
The practice has an extensive well establish outreach clinic network in the San Antonio and surrounding community.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing
