The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Fayetteville, AR, is seeking a full-time, board certified, Rheumatologist. Ideal candidate is Board Certified in both IM and Rheumatology. Preferred training/certification in musculoskeletal ultrasound with experience in supervising trainees. We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America’s Veterans.
Candidates must possess an MD/DO from an accredited institution, have completed residency training leading to board eligibility/certification, and possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State.
Highlights of this opportunity:
- Potential starting base salary range: $115,587-$243K
- Permanent full-time position
- Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- Provides an infusion clinic for patients requiring biologics and IV bisphosphonates.
- Reviews and examines all patients with the fellows and also the clinical pharmacists
- Provides ongoing care for patients with a wide variety of Rheumatologic conditions
- Work collaboratively with other specialists to ensure patients receive continuous quality care and to provide endocrinology training as requested
- No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
