The Maintenance Manager assists in all activities related to plant operations for a Senior Living Community with a resident population that includes assisted living, memory care and independent living.Â The Maintenance Manager directs work for Housekeeping to clean and maintain the building; takes and manages maintenance requests; follows a maintenance schedule, which addresses all areas of the community and maintains employee and resident customer satisfaction. Â Perform other duties as assigned to care for residents and employees.
Position Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Manager directs the work of the Housekeeping staff as well as oversees work being done by contractors
Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Minimum Qualifications:
1.Â Â Â Â Â Willingness to be on feet for long periods.
2.Â Â Â Â Â Ability to lift/push/pull a moderate amount of weight.
3.Â Â Â Â Â Ability to identify maintenance needs and lead/manage the bid process and work projects.
4.Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of emergency and disaster procedures of the facility.
5.Â Â Â Â Â Ability to project a Professional Image and work well with others.
6.Â Â Â Â Â Knowledge of/or ability to learn regulatory standards in assisted living and compliance requirements.
7.Â Â Â Â Â Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.
8.Â Â Â Â Â Strong organizational and analytical skills.
9.Â Â Â Â Â Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (Word processing, graphics, databases, spreadsheets, etc.)
Education and/or Experience:Â
High school diploma or equivalent.Â Two to three yearsâ€™ experience managing a building in a related field is preferred.
