The Louis A. Johnson Veterans’ Administration Medical Center located in Clarksburg, WV is looking for a Neurologist to join our team. The Clarksburg VAMC is small enough to connect with the patients but big enough to still have some of the newest equipment available. At the Clarksburg VA Medical Center, our health care teams are deeply experienced and guided by the needs of Veterans, their families, and caregivers.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform full general neurological examinations on established or newly consulted patients, including electronic consultations (e-Consults) in the Neurology clinics, inpatient wards, or Emergency Department
Interpret EEGs and Evoked Potential Studies as well as perform EMGs
Performs telehealth functions
Participate in the VA Tele-stroke program
The neurologist exercises corporate citizenship by serving as a leader and/or active member on Medical Center committees
