The Fayetteville VA Coastal Health Care System is Seeking 2 Full-Time Physicians (Board-Certified Cardiologist) to be assigned to the Cardiology Specialty of Medicine under Specialty Medicine Services. It is 2 hours from the beach, 5 hours from the Appalachian Mountains with easy access to I-95 and all points north and south. This central North Carolina location enjoys seasonably palatable weather year-round. In addition to our main Fayetteville VA Medical Center campus, we offer excellent primary care and mental health care services at our local community- based outpatient clinics. Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases, promote heart health and provide extraordinary care. Perform and read cardiovascular procedures to diagnose and treat various disorders. Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultation services, as well as consultation for other services hospital-wide. Perform standard diagnostic cardiovascular procedures. Review physical requirements and conduct physical examinations and treat various cardiovascular diseases for all patients. Support quality assurance/performance improvement initiatives.
