This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. The Primary Care Physician fulfills all primary care needs, including acute and chronic illness, gender-specific care, mental health (screens for conditions such as depression, substance use/abuse, military sexual trauma and PTSD, and evaluate and treat uncomplicated mental health disorders as well as substance use disorders and refer to patients appropriately for further evaluation and treatment when necessary) and preventative care. Coordinate care and communicate with specialty provider. Responsible to read and comply with the Medical Staff Bylaws and comply with all mandatory training. Responsible for delivery of outpatient primary care. The physician and Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) will manage a panel of patients. May manage subsection of primary care patients. May participate in special projects. Provide clinical oversight and review the care provided by mid-level practitioners.
