Education and length of practice are considered through a formal pay-setting process to determine the final compensable salary (Base Pay + Market Pay) Duties include but are not limited to the following: The CLC Staff Physician is primarily assigned inpatient attending responsibilities in the CLC. The Staff Physician is responsible for providing admission H&P, assessment, diagnosis and referral for consultation, evaluating CLC referrals and participating with admission decisions leading and participating in family conferences, and begin an active member of the inter-professional team. The Staff Physician serves as a resource to GEC nurse practitioners. The incumbent is an integral part of the CLC inter-professional treatment team and participates in all activities pertinent to the inpatient unit. The incumbent also participates in and directs activities pertaining to the quality improvement, strategic planning, continuous readiness for the annual unannounced CLC survey and The Joint Commission accreditation process.
