The Director of Nursing will oversee Health Center clinical operations in our new state of the art transitional living center called The Vista. This building is the first of its kind in the industry with a flexible design to adapt to the changing needs of the East Dallas and surrounding community in the years to come.
Our ideal candidate will be an energetic, hands-on manager with a proven track record of motivating and developing the team, the ability to reinforce our culture and maintain our commitment to “Resident First” customer service.
Some of the ways this person contributes to our campus are:
Works collaboratively with the Administrator to develop and monitor the nursing administrative and clinical functions for the residents in the Health Center.
Monitors the outcomes of nursing service activity by evaluating the performance of nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all facility and regulatory agency standards, and CCY policies and procedures.
Directs the quality assurance efforts of the Nursing Department and is responsible for follow up with recommendations, plans of corrections and other actions. Prepares quarterly reports to the QAA committee. Serves as a QAA committee member.
Some of the qualities we are looking for are:
RN/MSN or BSN in the State of Texas.
5+ years of progressive Nursing Administration and Management experience in a Senior Living Long Term Care environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of long term care facility regulations, managed care and private care accreditation and compliance regulations.
Proven track record of successful State Surveys.
Ability to propose and implement creative solutions to identified nursing care and administrative issues.
Commitment to quality care and the maintenance of a collaborative, culture-focused working environment.
