This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more The HUD-VASH program, a partnership between the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Department of Veterans Affairs, is an intensive case management program for chronically homeless Veterans aimed at providing psychosocial services to Veterans who acquire permanent housing through HUD's Section 8 voucher system. The incumbent in this position functions as Case Manager for San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) HUD/VA Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) Program. The HUD-VASH Program is located at the San Francisco Downtown Clinic/Annex and CBOCs throughout the SFVAHCS catchment area. The incumbent is responsible for providing case management and other services for Veterans receiving housing through HUD Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers.
